What a fun day out at Nelson with Katie and Ben – and of course my amazing sidekick Brooke We booked Katie and Ben’s wedding quite some time ago but decided to wait until the weather got a bit warmer before we did their engagement session. So glad we did because I simply love this couple and want the ‘best’ of everything for them! The day couldn’t have been more beautiful and still this couple shined brighter than the sun! Love my boys! And Mr. Nico is definitely ALL BOY! We had so much fun chasing this little guy all over Lake Las Vegas!! Candance (his mom) had told me how hard it was to get a good picture of him because he runs away from the camera as soon as he sees it. I thought, ‘no biggie’ I’m used to working with kids who are not total hams in front of the camera… But I had noooo idea just how literal she was being. So from the moment we starting shooting literally ‘the CHASE was on’! It was totally worth it though…Not only is Nico so full of life and personality – he’s one handsome fella to be working out with

Lake Las Vegas Family Photographer – Meet the Johnsons!

Spring is here! I just love shooting families come Spring time in Las Vegas. Not only due to the simply amazing weather conditions but also because of the fun bright colors families often pick to wear This would definitely be the case with the Johnson’s. Dawn did such an amazing job putting these outfits together for her family which, I have to mention – is so full of life and charisma that I had a hard time keeping my camera still enough to get these images in focus. We just kept laughing and moving all over the place - Love photographing out at Lake Las Vegas and loved loved loved photographing the Johnson’s!

Las Vegas Family Photographer – Angles Family Fun!

What a perfect day out at Nelson, Nevada photographing the Angles and their beautiful daughter Soleil! Jessie contacted me months ago about surprising his wife, Francie with a custom family photoshoot on their anniversary. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to arrange our schedules in time so here we are months later BUT in much more ideal weather so it really, all worked out! Both Jessie and Francie are very creative individuals. In fact Francie is a photographer herself and I have to admit that it always makes me a bit nervous when I know that one of my peers are hiring me to do for them what they already do so well… LOL Honestly though I couldn’t be more pleased with how their portraits turned out and for the FIRST time EVER – This client’s favorites were my favorites too!!!

Las Vegas Newborn Photographer- Welcoming Kennedy Marie to Maple Hill!

The Harris Family has got to be hands down some of my favorite clients. Their family session out at Nelson last year was one HOOT of the time! I kept calling their oldest son Eric (who’s real name is Ryan) by mistake and its been an on going joke since. Even when we took the family up to Calico Basin this year I told Brooke – I hope I don’t remember the name I kept calling Ryan last year because it will get stuck in my head again. So what was the first thing they started laughing about when they saw me?? How I kept calling Ryan ‘Eric’ during their session last year — and yes you guessed it… Ryan was ‘Eric’ their entire session again!

So here we are again… When I found out Reanna was pregnant WITH A GIRL last year — I was so thrilled for them! I knew it was in their plans to have another baby and I knew Reanna also wanted a girl but there’s nothing like the joy and surprise of getting exactly what you hoped for! And Miss Kennedy couldn’t be more perfect!!! I can already tell this little rose is going to have daddy wrapped around her finger for a long long long time to come!!!

Congratulations Michael, Reanna, Ryan (aka Eric) and Dominic on the newest addition to your AMAZING family!!!

Las Vegas Wedding Photographer – David + Susie are ENGAGED!!!

Okay – so I’m really not sure where to even start with this one… Obviously I’m a little obsessed with this session! David and Susie are both clients and friends to my husband and I. With that said, I can’t begin to even express how honored, excited and yes, a bit nervous to be photographing their wedding this July! So lets chat about this shoot. I love when clients tell me just how much they don’t like to be photographed and end up being the most photogenic people ever! This was exactly the case with David and Susie. I was totally prepared to ‘pull teeth’ on this session but to my very present surprise both David and Susie were absolutely brilliant in front of the camera!!!

Thank you David and Susie for simply BEING IN LOVE and not getting too mad at me for breaking your mug :/ LOL!

oh and a special THANK YOU to the ever so lovely Ashleigh Coryell for all your assistance and laughing at me the whole time.

Las Vegas Maternity Photographer – Kelly and Jonathan are expecting!!!

What a wonderful afternoon out at Lake Las Vegas with Kelly and Jonathan. Its easy to see that these two love birds are going to make wonderful parents. Such love between them and what inspirational on camera chemistry!!! Pose after pose they proved to be one of the most naturally photogenic couples we’ve shot in a long time. I have to admit maternity sessions are not my favorite. Mainly because I know what it feels like to try and look natural and beautiful with a big round belly and swollen feet! However this maternity session was so easy going and fun that I’ve decided to schedule all my maternity sessions out in the ‘great wide open’ from now on! Okay maybe not in July! LOL

Kelly and Jonathan — thank you for intrusting me with such a significant moment of your lives…. I can’t wait to meet little Miss Karissa!
